For those who were interested in following up with Firdousi’s friend, Mushtaq, about Arabic or Quran lessons, Firdousi writes:
Mushtaq gives private lessons and we also have a weekly class on Arabic and the 99 names. The lessons are really deep and interesting, and It helps him feed his family and survive in these very difficult times. He is very grateful to get to hang with us all and teach Westerner Sufis how to pronounce and write and even sing parts fo the Quran. If you want to do this, he is completely open to any genuinely interested person. I recommend that you try to have some private Zoom lessons with him. He is really good at teaching Quran…Arabic… everything Islam. And such a wonderful fellow. The place to sign up is on the enrollment page of our website. If you want to have private lessons, which he will give as often as you want, you can sign up or make a monthly donation. If you just want to try Wazifa School, we are recommending $33 donation a month. For private lessons every few days, about $99 a month. But really, pay what you can, as much or as little as you need or want. He wants more students and loves all of us. His brother‘s shoemaking business was shut down for Covid, and he only made $2.50 a day for 6 hours of work. He is extremely grateful for any donations and offerings for his teachings, and you would be most welcome. After just a few months I am beginning to read and write the Quran and read general Arabic.
